The Leopards received 23 votes to put them ahead of other Region 7 contenders St. Vincent-St. Mary and Poland Seminary in the voting. Also in Region 7, Hubbard was 1st and Aurora was 3rd.
The Lady Leopards defeated the host Aviators 19-25, 25-13, 25-18, 25-16 back on September 11. Rachel Mathie was the game’s top server with 24 points and 10 aces.
Ben Tornow took 13th place individually to lead Louisville at Boardman Saturday. The Leopards finished with 158 total places to take 6th out of 16 teams.
The Leopards Defense produced 5 takeaways, Brody Hahn scored 3 touchdowns, and Noah Bellew scored on the ground & via a pick six as Louisville routed Alliance 38-6.
