The Lady Leopards won at Marlington 189-214 Monday to clinch a share of the NBC Regular Season Title at 12-3 overall and 7-1 in the NBC. Katie Warga, Gina McVey, & Sierra Townsend have claimed top scores in the past several matches.
A fifth-man tie breaker helped the Leopards prevail over the the Warriors after the two squads played to a 168-168 tie. Louisville is now 8-5, 8-4 and just one game back of Carrolton in the NBC.
Sierra Townsend shot a team best 41 to lead Louisville past Salem 183-236. The Lady Leopards are now 6-1 overall and 3-1 in the NBC.
Matt Eddins shot a 41 to lead the Louisville, but Marlington took the match 171-175. The Leopards are now 5-3 overall and 5-2 in the NBC.
Louisville defeated West Branch 175-182, Salem 179-181, and Canton South 171-184 to improve to 4-2 overall on the season. Matt Eddins and Dom Lacerenza combined to hold the top Leopard scores.
Gina McVey shot a 45 to lead the Lady Leopards over visiting Marlington 194-222 on Saturday and Adrienne Metzger shot a 43 to lead Louisville over host Fairless 181-232 on Monday.
With the new enrollment figures and breakdowns released by the OHSAA, all Leopards sports will be in DI except for football which will play in DIII. Baseball, Boys Soccer, Boys Swimming, and Wrestling all make the jump to DI this season.
Louisville defeated Stow 183-190 on Wednesday, but fell to Minerva 184-208 on Thursday. The Lady Leopards are now 3-1, 1-1 on the season.
The Leopards fell to the Knights 166-182 at Skyland Pines Tuesday. Dan Duplain led Louisville by shooting a 44, Mac Hanson & Nick Fawver shot a 45, and Dom Lacerenza finished with a score for 48.
