The Leopards shutout the Lions 27-0 on October 25, 2002 to finish the season a perfect 10-0 and as a result were crowned DII AP Poll Champions for the first time in school history.

Only the 2007 State Runner-up Leopards scored more points than last year’s Football team which produced 446. Louisville Football also finished undefeated in the NBC for the second straight season.
Curtis Elsass rushed for 122 yards & 3 touchdowns and Gary Whaley passed for 213 yards & 2 touchdowns as the Leopards defeated the Ravens 34-23 on August 23, 2002.
The Leopards Connor Zwick finished with 258 yards of offense and threw a touchdown pass but the East still fell to the West 17-7. Louisville’s Kyle Woost also had 6 catches for 53 yards
Louisville Football will send 8 Players and 3 Coaches to the Stark County East-West All-Star Game on Saturday, July 11 at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium.
Ken Kuhn ran for 2 touchdowns & John Doerschuk ran & passed for scores as the Leopards shutout the Lions 25-0 back on November 12, 1971. Louisville became the 8th team in school history to go undefeated.
