The Leopards Boys Cross Country team won their 2nd District Championship in 4 years back on October 19. Nick Chaplik finished 5th to lead Louisville.
The Blue Streaks ended the Lady Leopards 2012 Season & spoiled their 2013 home opener. However, Louisville got the last laugh on October 17 when they defeated Lake in the Sectional Finals in their own gym.
The Lady Leopards defeated the Blue Streaks 14-4 and 9-5 in a Double Header Saturday. Keri Hupp hit a game-winning Grand Slam and Grace Jackson homered in each contest.
The Boys teams defeated West Branch 94-34 and the Girls team won 70-58 as they both moved to 3-0 on the year. The Girls win avenged their loss to the Warriors last season.
The Leopards furious fourth quarter rally came up inches short as they fell the Blue Streaks 57-55. Blake Hoover scored a game-high 21 points and Bryce Mathie dropped in 13. Louisville finishes the regular season 12-9.
The Lady Leopards fell to the Lady Blue Streaks 5-3 in the DI Girls Soccer District Semifinals Wednesday. Lizzy Mont, Rachel Baughman, and Devin Kring all scored goals for Louisville who finished 15-2-1.
The Lady Leopards defeated the Lady Blue Streaks 25-13, 25-18, 22-25, 12-25 Thursday to claim their 3rd DI Sectional Title in 4 Seasons. Louisville is now 13-10 and will face top-seeded Jackson Tuesday.
The Louisville Lady Leopards Girls Soccer team will host the winner of GlenOak-Hoover in the Sectional Finals on Thursday, October 17 at 7:00 PM.
The Louisville Leopards drew the 8th seed at the DI Austintown District Tournament Draw Sunday and will host the Perry Panthers on October 16 at 7:00 PM.
