Grace Jackson hit a pair of home runs and hit the game-ending RBI double in the fifth as the Leopards routed the Chipps 10-0. Morgan Harris also recorded 9 strikeouts to pick up the victory in the circle.
The Lady Leopards saw their 42-game road winning streak in the NBC snapped by the host Warriors 2-1 in extra innings. The victory was West Branch’s first over Louisville since 2004.
Rylee Squire hit a pair of home runs & drove in 5 runs to lead the Leopards past the Quakers 14-0 in the season opener. Teagan Rice also went 3-for-3 and Kaycee Ollis went 3-for-4 with 2 RBIs.
