Megan Chatelain, Maddie Berkebile, and Kayla Gibson all scored goals as the Leopards defeated the Panthers 3-1 in the DI Austintown Sectional Semifinals.
The Leopards clinched their third NBC Title with a 12-0 win against the Wildcats. Louisville is now unbeaten in their past 10 games, which is a new team record.
Maddie Berkebile & Kayla Gibson netted goals in the final 14 minutes to lead the Leopards in a 2-0 Senior Night win over the Quakers. Celia Keefe also earned the shutout in goal.
Kayla Gibson, Sydnee Shankel, and Bri Horton all scored goals during Louisville’s 3-0 shutout of visiting Carrollton. Celia Keefe also recorded the shutout in goal for the Leopards.
Bri Horton scored two goals in a span of 51 seconds to lead the Leopards rally in their 2-2 tie against the host Warriors. Celia Keefe also had 20 saves in goal for Louisville.
Megan Hampe scored the only Louisville goal after rebounding a shot by Jenny Hamsher during the Leopards 2-1 loss to the Vikings. Aubry Fankhauser led the Leopards defense.
Maddie Berkebile and Brianna Horton each headed in second half goals for the Lady Leopards who held on to edge the host Black Tigers 2-1. Jenny Hamsher also had an assist for Louisville.
Hannah Baughman scored a goal and had a pair of assists to lead the Leopards past the Irish 5-0. Jenny Hamsher and Brianna Horton also added a goal & an assist each.
Mandy Wesely scored the game-winner with 1:40 left to lift the Leopards past the Lancers 11-10 in their inaugural tournament game. Emily Hollifield & Katie Hollifield each had Hat Tricks for Louisville.
