Leopards Golfers Stay Consistent Against Carrollton & Salem

Louisville erased a 22-3 first quarter deficit and Molly Brown hit the game-winning three-pointer with 1.2 second remaining to give the Lady Leopards a victory that they would later need to complete their NBC quest.
Both the boys and girls track teams each defeated the Carrollton Warriors by an identical 73-55 score. The girls team finishes the season a perfect 7-0 in dual meets and the boys finish 5-2 in their run through the NBC.
Eight different Leopards provided RBI’s and eight different Leopards also scored during Louisville’s 13-2 NBC victory over visiting Carrollton. Riley Groves earned the victory on the mound and is now 7-0 for the season.
Dillon Stertzbach pitched 6 solid innings and struck out 11 to lead the Louisville past host Carrollton 6-4. Stertzbach also had 2 RBI’s offensively and Chad Neff had a 2-run triple for the 13-5, 9-2 Leopards.
Brittany Flanigan pitched a complete game one-hit shutout and Chandler Rice added a 2-run home to lead the Louisville Lady Leopards to a 9-0 win over the Carrollton Warriors.
Chandler Rice hit a two-run triple in the top of the seventh and Brittany Flanigan closed out the deal 1-2-3 in the bottom of the inning to seal the deal for the Lady Leps who are now 4-0, 2-0 on the season.
The Warriors used an 8-0 fourth quarter run to spring ahead before surviving the Leopards 44-40 for their 5th straight win over Louisville. Mike Kelly led the Leps with 10 points.
Clara Lemmon led the Lady Leps with 15 points and Brianna Libertore also scored 13 during Louisville’s sixth straight home victory.
Lucas Poyser won the 160-pound title as Louisville finished 19th at the North Canton Holiday Tournament. The Leopards also defeated Carrollton 37-33 earlier this week.
