Dominic Hoffarth finished fifth in 150 to lead the Leopards who placed 21st at the Brecksville Invitational Holiday Wrestling Tournament. Dylan Rhoads and Wyatt Smith also took 8th in their brackets for LHS.
Sam Karcher shot a team low 44 but Louisville fell to Medina 167-184 and Brecksville-Broadview Heights 167-196 in a tri-match at Fox Meadow Country Club. The Leopards are now 3-3 on the season.
Louisville took 5th at the Golden Eagle Invitational and then 12th at the Northeast Ohio Sectional Tournament. Destini Adorisio and Emma Springer led the Lady Leopards at both meets.
Garett Lautzenheiser went undefeated finishing as the 120 champion to lead the Leopards who took 8th out of 49 teams at the Brecksville Invitational Holiday Tournament. Davin Rhoads also placed 3rd and Jax Leonard took 4th.
Louisville defeated Revere 84-12, North Canton Hoover 84-10, and Brecksville 45-41 to advance to the finals. The Leopards fell to Maysfield in the finals 72-15 and then lost to Ohio Elite 51-33 to finish 4th.
Zach Fresenko took 2nd individually to lead the Leopards to a 1st place team finish. Noah Chaplik, Noah Murray, and Nick Chaplik also placed in the top 6.
Jake Pukys became the first ever 4-time District Qualifier in Leopards Tennis history. Overall he finished with a school best record of 86-19 and Alex Hall placed second all-time with 58 dual match wins.
Maddie Moser placed 23rd in the Floor Exercise and 31st for the All-Around to lead the Leopards to an 8th place finish out of 19 teams at the Sectional Meet. Madisyn Seaman also took 34th for the All-Around.
The Leopards fell to the Bees 4-1 in the first round of the Ohio Tennis Coaches’ Association DI Tournament. Kayla Pukys won in #1 Singles for Louisville.
