Paige Cole led Louisville with team-highs in 18 kills, 11 digs, and 5 blocks as the Leopards defeated the visiting Crusaders 20-25, 25-12, 25-13, 25-7. Cami Nau was also the leading server with 14 points and Amanda Clark registered 22 assists.
Rachel Kibler and Sherilynn Mullett each won their singles matches, but the Leopards fell to the host Crusaders 3-2 to snap their 6-match winning streak. Louisville is now 12-5 on the season.
Madison Gruber shot a team low 39 to lead the Leopards past the Panthers 165-175 and the Crusaders 165-226 in a tri-match Wednesday. Katie Bice also shot a 40, Abby Davis 42, and Karli Redinger 44 for 12-0 Louisville.
Alexis Ralston and Karli Redinger each shot a match best 46 to lead the Leopards to a 188-238 victory over the host Crusaders at Tam O’Shanter Dales Course. Louisville is now a perfect 7-0 on the year.
Austin Cummings hit a 2-run home run & drove in 4 runs and Bryce Zuppe cracked a 3-run homer to lead Louisville in a 15-5 mercy victory over Canton Central Catholic in 5 innings. Jack Davis and Caleb Prasco also drove in a pair of runs each.
Kayla Gibson scored a team-high 18 points including the game-winning three-pointer with 27 seconds remaining in overtime of the Leopards 54-51 home finale win over the Crusaders. Erin Hahn also scored 16 and Ellie Jackson dropped in 15.
The Leopards fell to the Comets 25-17, 28-26, rallied to defeat the Hornets 19-25, 25-22, 25-21, before falling to Central Catholic 25-14, 25-13. Louisville is now 6-8 on the season.
The Leopards Doubles Teams of Kat Brown & Sherilynn Mullet and Mackenzie Murphy & Mandy Plaskett both won, but the Louisville fell to Canton Central Catholic 3-2.
Caleb Prasco and Justin Shafter shot a team low 86 to lead the Leopards to a 7th place finish out of 11 teams. Walsh Jesuit won the tournament, Perry took 2nd, and Central Catholic finished in 3rd.
