Lady Leopards Take 2nd at Stark County Championships – Girls Golf

The Louisville Leopards Girls Golf Team competed at the Stark County Championships tournament Saturday at The Sanctuary Golf Club. Louisville finished with a team score of 316 to take second place out of 13 teams.
Senior Katie Bice shot a team low 75 and finished 5th individually to lead the Lady Leopards. Junior Erin Strouse also carded a 76 to take 6th individually and senior Madison Gruber finished 9th after shooting 79. Junior Abby Davis also tallied 86 to round out the Louisville scoring.

The North Canton Hoover Vikings won the tournament with a team score of 308. The Lady Vikings were led by sophomore Halle Ellis who shot 73 to tie GlenOak Junior Madison Reemsnyder for second place individually.
The Jackson Polar Bears finished third behind Louisville with a team score of 333 and the GlenOak Golden Eagles took fourth place with a score of 344. Junior Avery Wright was the tournament medalist in leading the Lady Bears with a tournament low 69.
UP NEXT: The Lady Leopards will next host the New Philadelphia Quakers on Monday, September 21. Match is slated to begin at 4:00 PM from Pleasant View Golf Club.
