Lady Leopards Blow Away Tornadoes 156-200 – Girls Golf

The Louisville Leopards Girls Golf Team defeated the Dover Tornadoes 156-200 in their dual match home opener at Pleasant View Golf Club Friday Afternoon. With the victory, Louisville remains unbeaten improving to 5-0 on the young season.
Abby Davis and Alexis Ralston were co-medalists shooting a match best 38 to lead the Lady Leopards. Erin Strouse also shot 39 and Madison Gruber 41 to round out the Louisville scoring. Other varsity participants included Katie Bice who carded a 45, Lauren L’Amoreaux who finished with 46, and Peyton Biery who shot 55.
All six Lady Leopards shot better than all of the Lady Tornadoes except Riley Schie who led Dover with a team best 44. Other scorers for DHS included Olivia Patton 50, Skylar McPeek 52, and Grace Wenzel 54.
The Lady Leopards are now 6-0 all-time against the Lady Tornadoes. This includes a 4-0 record at home and a 3-0 record when competing against them at Pleasant View Golf Club. This year’s squad joins the 2018 Lady Leopards Golf Team as the only two teams in program history to start the season with five straight victories. The 2018 team was 12-0 before surrendering a defeat.
UP NEXT: The Lady Leopards will next compete at the Midwest Classic on Saturday, August 15. Tee-time is set for 1:30 PM from Skyland Pines Golf Club.
