Louisville Falls to New Philadelphia in Section Rematch – Girls Soccer

The Louisville Leopards Girls Soccer Team suffered a close defeat against the host New Philadelphia Quakers 3-2 Thursday Evening. With the loss, Louisville falls to 8-6-1 on the year heading into this weekend’s tournament draw.
Matti Benson and Morgan Keelan each scored goals for the Lady Leopards. Natalie Lab and Gabby Smith provided the assists for Louisville.

Sophomore goalkeeper Amelia Henderhan also finished with 13 saves in goal for the Lady Leopards.
Louisville is now 1-1 against New Philadelphia all-time. They defeated the Quakers 2-1 in overtime on the road in last year’s DI Niles Sectional Semifinal matchup.
