The Louisville Leopards Girls Varsity Soccer dominated the host Lake Center Christian Tigers in an 8-0 shutout Saturday. With the victory, Louisville improves to 1-0-1 on the young season.
Allan Scores Pair of Goals to Lead Louisville
Freshman Payton Allan scored a pair of goals to lead the Lady Leopards. Sophomore Matti Benson, senior Morgan Keelan, and freshman Alissa Lingenhoel also recorded 1 goal and 1 assist each for Louisville.
Altogether seven different Lady Leopards found the back of the net during the contest. Other goal scorers included sophomores Ava Kimble, Natalie Lab, and Mazzy Miller. Senior Morgan Mayle also tallied an assist for LHS.
Henderhan Records 2nd Straight Shutout
In the net, goalkeeper Amelia Henderhan didn’t see a lot of action but still recorded 2 saves in keeping the opposition scoreless for the second straight game. She now has recorded 12 shutouts in her varsity career.
With the victory, the Lady Leopards have now defeated the Lady Tigers in their last 4 meetings and in each of the past 3 seasons overall. Louisville now leads the all-time series 5-2-1, which includes a 2-1-1 record when playing on the road at Lake Center in the series.

UP NEXT: The Lady Leopards Girls Soccer Team will continue their road schedule by taking on the Avon Lake Shoremen on Monday, August 23. JV is slated to begin at 5:00 PM with varsity following at 7:00 PM.
