The Louisville Leopards Boys Varsity Lacrosse Team downed the host Boardman Spartans 17-5 Tuesday Night at Spartan Stadium on the campus of Boardman High School. With the victory, Louisville evens their mark at 1-1 on the young season.

Tyler Shadle outscored the Spartans on his own with a game-high 6 goals to lead the Leopards. Bryce Rebuck also finished with 4 goals for Louisville.

Altogether seven different Louisville players found the back of the net. Brandon Kimble and Matt VanNostran both added a pair of goals. Josh Bole, Jacob Davide, and Joey Johnson also tacked on a goal each.

Evan Wengerter finished with 8 saves at goalie for LHS.

The Leopards are now 1-1 against the Spartans all-time. Louisville also fell at Boardman 7-6 in their only other meeting in 2019.

UP NEXT:The Leopards will next travel to face the North Canton Hoover Vikings on Friday, March 26. JV will begin at 5:00 PM and Varsity will follow around 7:00 PM.

JV: Louisville 6, Boardman 2

The Leopards JV Team defeated the host Spartans 6-2 Tuesday Evening at Spartan Stadium. With the win, Louisville JV improves to 1-1 to start the season.

Josh Bole led the Leopards with a hat trick. Zach Bennett also scored a pair of goals and Nate Adams added a goal for Louisville.

Varsity (3/20): Wadsworth 16, Louisville 1

The Louisville Leopards Boys Varsity Lacrosse Team dropped their season opener 16-1 at the hands of the host Wadsworth Grizzlies Saturday Afternoon at Art Wright Stadium.

Brandon Kimble netted the lone goal for Louisville.

The Leopards are now 0-5 against the Grizzlies all-time, which includes an 0-3 record in games played at Wadsworth.
