Alliance broke open a 1-1 tie with 10 runs in the fifth and sixth innings en rout to beating the host Louisville 11-4 Thursday. Mike Kelly had two RBI’s for the Leopards and Jon Crank & Pavin Parks had two hits each to lead the Leps offensively.
Riley Groves threw a two-hit shutout and Pavin Parks delivered the game-winning RBI in the sixth to lead the Leopards past the Aviators 1-0.
Louisville jumped out to a 6-1 lead early and survived a seventh inning Hoover rally to defeat the Vikings 6-5 Monday evening at Louisville High School.
Connor Ruffier & Dillon Stertzbach each had three hits each and Mike Kelly went the distance as the visiting Louisville Leopards defeated the West Branch Warriors 10-3. Kyle White & Garrett Yoder each had a pair of hits as well for the Leopards.
After Louisville took a 1-0 first inning lead, Jackson scored eight unanswered en rout to an 8-3 victory at LHS Wednesday Evening. Kyle White, Riley Groves, and Mike Kelly each had 2 hits a piece.
Riley Groves singled home Kyle White for the go-ahead run in the fifth and Mike Kelly added an insurance run by hitting home Groves after that as Louisville defeated West Branch 4-2 at home Tuesday evening.
Dillon Stertzbach singled home Riley Groves in the sixth inning for the Leopards only run in their 5-1 loss to the Lake Blue Streaks Monday evening in Hartville. Louisville is now 4-1 overall on the year.
Mike Kelly hit a Home Run and a Double and Jon Crank also had 4 RBIs as the Leopards squeaked out a 7-6 victory at Green Saturday afternoon. The Leps also won the second game 9-8
Mike Kelly pitched a complete game, struck out 5, and had a 2-run single to help lead the Leopards to a 5-3 victory over Minerva in the home opener. Joey Duckworth also hit a solo home run to propel the Leopards to a 2-0 start.
