The Louisville Leopards Boys Varsity Lacrosse Team defeated the visiting Canfield Cardinals 7-3 Tuesday Night at Louisville Leopards Stadium. With the victory, Louisville remains undefeated on the season improving to 4-0.
Davide Nets 4 Goals to Lead Leopards
Junior attack Jacob Davide outscored the Cardinals with 4 goals individually to lead the Leopards. Senior midfielder Joe Reynolds also scored a pair of goals and junior midfielder Joey Johnson netted the other score for LHS.
Louisville took a 3-1 lead at the end of the first quarter and held 4-3 lead at halftime. The Leopards defense shutout Canfield in the second half as Louisville tacked on a score in the third quarter and two more goals in the fourth quarter to solidify their fourth straight victory.
Louisville Vs. Canfield Lacrosse History
The Leopards are now 5-0 against the Cardinals all-time since their first meeting in 2015, the inaugural game of the Louisville Lacrosse program. The Leopards are now 4-0 against Canfield when playing at Louisville Leopards Stadium as well.
