My Fit Life Personal Trainer AdThe Louisville Leopards Varsity Volleyball Team defeated the visiting Barberton Magics 25-16, 16-25, 25-23, 25-22 Thursday Evening at Louisville High School. Louisville has now won 6 straight matches and now sits with a record of 12-8 on the year.

Senior Paige Cole led the Lady Leopards on offense, defense, and serving. She threw down a team-high 26 kills, recorded a team leading 20 digs, and finished with 11 points & 4 aces serving. Cole continues to set the bar higher as she broke her own single season kills record in the process. Last season she recorded 406 kills as a junior, now as a senior she sits at 414 kills for the year and 1,033 for her career.

Samantha's Grill AdSenior Lauren Siegfried led Louisville with a team-high 31 assists. She also finished with 10 service points, 3 aces, and finished off two sets with her power serves.

Junior Kendal Loy registered a double digit kills performance with 10. Sophomore Lexi Jobe also recorded a team best 4 blocks defensively.
 
UP NEXT: The Lady Leopards will next host the Austintown Fitch Falcons for their regular season finale on Thursday, October 15. JV will begin at 5:00 PM and Varsity will follow around 6:00 PM.

JV: Louisville 25-25, Barberton 13-19

The Lady Leopards JV squad defeated the Magics 25-13, 25-19 Wednesday Evening at LHS. The Louisville JV have now won 4 of their last 5 to improve to 8-12 on the season.

Sophomore Emma Wilson finished with a team-high 8 kills to go along with 7 service points and 2 aces to lead the Lady Leopards. Freshman Brooke Haren was Louisville’s leading server with 9 service points to go along with a pair of kills.

The Lady Leopards were led on defense by sophomore Kaitlyn Kardohely who registered a team leading 6 digs. Sophomore Anna Ramsey also tallied 2 digs to go along with 8 points and 3 aces serving. Freshman Sloane Sypolt also recorded a block to go along with her 7 kills.
