The Louisville Leopards Boys Soccer Team shutout the visiting Alliance Aviators 6-0 Thursday Night at Louisville Leopards Stadium. With their third straight victory, Louisville improves to 4-1 on the season.

Kibler Scores Louisville’s 1000th Goal

Jenny Can Cleaning AdJunior Ryan Kibler scored a pair of second half goals to lead the Leopards. Sophomore Dominic Porter-Kovacich assisted Kibler’s first score and also scored a goal of his own later in the second half.

Kibler’s second goal was unassisted and gave LHS a commanding 4-0 advantage. The milestone score was the 1000th goal in the history of the Louisville Boys Soccer Program.


Five Different Leopards Score in Victory

Five different Leopards found the back of the net and four different Louisville players recorded assists on the night. Junior Drew Dillen scored the lone first half goal via an assist from sophomore Kadan Swope.

Juniors Brady Adams and Ethan Diller also scored off assists in the second half. Senior Cooper Gilbert and freshman Carter Burton provided the assists on those scores.


Emmons and Foradis Combine for Shutout

My Fit Life Personal Trainer Side AdJunior Noah Emmons and sophomore Giovanni Foradis combined for the shutout in goal for the Leopards. Louisville has now recorded three shutouts in their five games played this season.

The Leopards have now shutout the Aviators in each of the past three seasons outscoring them 15-0 in those contests. Louisville has defeated Alliance in eight of their past nine meetings overall and has taken each of the last six games played in the series at LHS.

The Leopards still trail the all-time series 10-11-1 overall, but now hold a 6-5 edge in games played at home in the series. This is the sixth time Louisville has shutout the Aviators in the history of the series.

UP NEXT: The Louisville Leopards Boys Soccer Team will next host the Northwest Indians on Saturday, September 10. JV will start at 5:00 PM and Varsity will follow at 7:00 PM from Louisville Leopards Stadium.

Lingenhoel Group - Arden and Lisa Lingenhoel - Cutler Real Estate AdThe Leopards JV Team defeated the visiting Tallmadge Blue Devils 4-1 Thursday Evening at Louisville High School. With the victory, Louisville improves to 2-1 on the season.

Sophomore Nick Johnston registered a hat trick to lead the Leopards. Freshman Raiden Lindner and sophomore Adler LaScola provided the assists on Johnston’s first two scores. Johnston’s hat trick goal was unassisted.

Junior Remi Klein opened the scoring earlier with a goal via an assist from junior Caleb Riley.
