The Louisville Leopards Varsity Softball Team fell victim to a late rally by the host Keystone Wildcats in an 8-7 road loss Monday evening. With the loss, Louisville drops to an even 2-2 on the season.

Katelynn Miller took the loss for Louisville Varsity Leopards. The hurler went three and two-thirds innings, surrendering five runs (four earned) on seven hits, striking out one and walking three. Macie Banks started the game for Keystone Varsity Wildcats. The pitcher surrendered 10 hits and six runs (three earned) over five and two-thirds innings, striking out one and walking three.

West Main Vet Clinic AdLouisville Varsity Leopards amassed 12 hits in the game. Griffith and Claugus each drove in two runs for Louisville Varsity Leopards. Miller, Sirohman, and Lilly Seaman each collected multiple hits for Louisville Varsity Leopards.

Foster provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Keystone Varsity Wildcats with three runs batted in. The cleanup hitter went 2-for-4 on the day. Foster, Zealley, and Tatum Holzhauer each collected two hits for Keystone Varsity Wildcats. Keystone Varsity Wildcats had a strong eye at the plate, amassing seven walks for the game. Anna Wright and Brooklyn Modock led the team with two walks each.

Next up for Louisville Varsity Leopards is a game at Assumption Varsity Rockets on Thursday.
