The Louisville Leopards Varsity Softball Team shutout the visiting Division V No. 10-ranked Triway Titans 4-0 Saturday morning at West Main Vet Clinic Field. The victory snapped the Lady Leopards three-game losing streak as they improved to 7-8 on the season.

Katelynn Miller shut down Triway Varsity Titans, throwing a complete game shutout and leading Louisville Varsity Leopards to a 4-0 victory on Saturday.
Louisville Varsity Leopards opened the scoring in the bottom of the second thanks to two doubles. Louisville Varsity Leopards first got on the board when Miller doubled, scoring one run.
Elena Hilty opened the game for Triway Varsity Titans. The hurler surrendered five hits and four runs (three earned) over six innings, striking out six and walking two.
Miller and Lilly Seaman each drove in two runs for Louisville Varsity Leopards. Bailee Griffith went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Louisville Varsity Leopards in hits.
Marissa Anderson, Myah Lester, and Faith Hostetler each collected one hit for Triway Varsity Titans. Triway Varsity Titans turned one double play in the game.
Louisville Varsity Leopards welcome Lakeview on Saturday for their next game.

Louisville Junior Varsity Leopards fell to Triway 6-2 on Saturday.
A single by Breanna Gentry put Triway on the board in the top of the second.
Bethany George earned the win for Triway. The pitcher allowed three hits and two runs (zero earned) over six innings, striking out 10 and walking two. Lyla Kandel took the loss for Louisville Junior Varsity Leopards. The pitcher went five and one-third innings, giving up six runs (five earned) on seven hits, striking out seven and walking three.
Aubree Bell and Kandel were tough to handle back-to-back in the lineup, as each drove in one run for Louisville Junior Varsity Leopards. Hayden Kerr led Louisville Junior Varsity Leopards with two hits in three at bats. Louisville Junior Varsity Leopards turned one double play in the game.
Leadoff hitter Brooklynn Fair led Triway with two hits in three at bats. Triway ran wild on the base paths, collecting four stolen bases for the game.
Next up for Louisville Junior Varsity Leopards is a game against Lakeview on Saturday.
