Strong Hitting Not Enough As Louisville Leopards Varsity 2025 Falls To Triway Varsity Lady Titans

Louisville Leopards Varsity 2025 fell 9-8 to Triway Varsity Lady Titans on Friday despite out-hitting them 14 to 10. Addy Campbell and Anna Sirohman each collected three hits for Louisville Leopards Varsity 2025.
Louisville Leopards Varsity 2025 fell behind by six runs in the fifth inning, but then tried to fight back. Louisville Leopards Varsity 2025 closed the gap by scoring on a home run, an error, and a double.
Triway Varsity Lady Titans got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Braylee Gatti singled down the left field line, and Louisville Leopards Varsity 2025 committed an error, each scoring one run.
Louisville Leopards Varsity 2025 tied the game in the top of the second thanks to a double by Katelynn Miller, and an error.
Triway Varsity Lady Titans captured the lead, 4-2, in the bottom of the second after Myah Lester grounded into a fielder’s choice, and Triway Varsity Lady Titans scored on a wild pitch, each scoring one run.
Triway Varsity Lady Titans scored five runs on five hits in the bottom of the fifth inning. Alyssa Hochstetler hit a grand slam to right field, and Lester doubled, scoring one run.
Louisville Leopards Varsity 2025 scored five runs on five hits in the top of the sixth inning. Leah Claugus homered to right field, scoring three runs, an error scored one run, and Shae O’Neill doubled, scoring one run.
Miller began the game for Louisville Leopards Varsity 2025. The starter gave up nine hits and nine runs (three earned) over four and two-thirds innings, striking out six and walking three. Lexi Long stepped in the circle first for Triway Varsity Lady Titans. The pitcher surrendered 12 hits and seven runs (six earned) over five and one-third innings, striking out none and walking two.
Louisville Leopards Varsity 2025 piled up 14 hits in the game. Claugus provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Louisville Leopards Varsity 2025 with three runs batted in. The outfielder went 1-for-4 on the day. Taylor Thompson and O’Neill each collected multiple hits for Louisville Leopards Varsity 2025.
Triway Varsity Lady Titans collected 10 hits in the game. Hochstetler led Triway Varsity Lady Titans with four runs batted in. The leadoff hitter went 2-for-3 on the day. Gatti went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Triway Varsity Lady Titans in hits. Lester collected two hits for Triway Varsity Lady Titans in three at bats.
