Taylor McCully scored a team high 14 points to lead the Lady Leopards in their 62-44 opener loss to the visiting Lady Bears. Courtney Barwick also scored 11 and Taryn Miglich added 9 as Louisville made 9 three-pointers as a team.
Madison Denzer rolled a 387 series to lead the Lady Leopards who finished 12th at the SCHSBC Early Bird Tournament. Garrett Chilson led the Louisville Boys with a 386 series as LHS took 16th at Park Centre Lanes.
Louisville placed 3rd at Highland on November 12 and 6th at Copley a week later on November 19. Many Leopards finished at the top individually and earned state tournament bids in the process.
Troy Davis announced he would be resigning as head coach of the Louisville Leopards Football Team Monday afternoon in a meeting with the varsity team.
Noah Capo placed 3rd in Lincoln Douglas with a 4-0 record and Declan Deioma finished 4th in International Extemporaneous Speaking to earn their first state bids as LHS finished 6th out of 38 schools at Perry.
Jessie Stewart took 1st in Original Oratory and Kenna Dunlap placed 1st in Programmed Oral Interpretation as Louisville received 5th in team sweepstakes at Warren JFK. LHS novices also competed at the GlenOak.
The #14 seed Leopards were shutout by the host #5 seed Polar Bears 2-0 in the DI Cleveland 1 District Semifinals at Rick Neitzelt Stadium. Louisville finishes with a final record of 14-5.
Dominic Porter-Kovacich scored a pair of goals to lead the #14 Leopards past the #8 Comets 2-1 in the DI Cleveland 1 Sectional Finals. Louisville has now won four consecutive sectional titles and improves to 14-4 with the victory.
Kylah Meyer placed 2nd for the girls and Grant Brown took 23rd for the boys to punch their tickets to regionals. The Lady Leopards finished 13th as a team and the Louisville Boys took 18th at the DI GlenOak District Meet.
Daveion Cruse ran for 60 yard touchdown and threw another to Braiden Hershey but the Leopards fell to the Cadets 45-19. Hershey also had 2 interceptions on defense and Andrew Essik ran for 100 yards & scored a touchdown as Louisville finished 3-7.
