The Louisville Leopards Varsity Volleyball team fell to the host Salem Quakers 19-25, 18-25, 23-25 back on August 29. JV also fell to the Quakers 16-25, 25-27.
Louisville fell to Salem 12-25, 20-25, 20-25 to fall to 9-8 overall and 6-3 in the NBC. Grace Jackson was the match’s top server with 14 points & 3 aces and Megan Stocker led all hitters with 11 kills.
Connor Zwick ran for 100 yards & 2 touchdowns and passed for 186 yards & a score to lead the Leopards past the Quakers 41-28. Walter Schrock also rushed for 129 & a pair of touchdowns.
Louisville edged Canton South 3-2 Thursday to clinch a share of their fourth straight NBC Title. Gretchen Groves, Alexis Isla, and Sarah Robbins all won their singles matches to lead the Leps.
The Lady Leopards shot 362 to win the NBC Tournament & the League Overall. Gina McVey & Sierra Townsend led Louisville by shooting an 86 each.
The Louisville Leopards shot 341 as a team which was good enough for third place overall. Mac Hanson led the way by shooting an 81. Marlington & Carrollton shared the league crown.

A fifth-man tie breaker helped the Leopards prevail over the the Warriors after the two squads played to a 168-168 tie. Louisville is now 8-5, 8-4 and just one game back of Carrolton in the NBC.
