The Lady Leopards won by their two largest margins of victory in their history in a span of 3 days featuring 3 hat tricks in a 13-0 win at McKinley and 10 different scorers in an 11-0 home win against Canton South.
Chad Gentry placed second in the 400 Meter Dash and girls 4×800 relay team of Mackenzie Rankin, Rachel Baughman, Haley Davis, and Sarah Davis placed 13th at the State Meet this weekend.
Chad Gentry crossed the finish line first in the 400 Meter Dash with a finals time of 48.93 to claim an individual Regional Championship. All the Leopards results inside.
Placing 1st individually was Gentry in the 400 Meter Dash & Rankin in the 300 Meter Hurdles. The boys 4×800 meter team of Stevens, Koczwara, Dasco, & Stamp also took 1st.
Mackenzie Rankin finished first in 4 different individual events and Chad Gentry also finished first in 2 to lead the Leopards. The girls finished with a score of 135 and the boys 118.
Mackenzie Rankin took 2nd in the long jump, Nick Thomas took 2nd in the 1600 meter run, & the 4×800 meter relay team of Chad Gentry, Garrett Dasco, Steven Stamp, & Tony Stevens took 2nd as well.
Mackenzie Storlie scored two goals & Becca Springman had a save on a PK during the Leps opening tournament game win over Perry 4-1. Rachel Baughman & Liz Stefanik also had goals.
Two goals in the final 7:32 by Mackenzie Storlie and Rachel Baughman capped a dominating second half for the Lady Leps during a 3-1 victory over Alliance.
Rachel Baughman had a Hat Trick and Mackenzie Storlie added the first two goals as the Lady Leopards defeated the Perry Panthers 5-1.
