Jared Mathie scored 4 goals and Braden Thomas recorded a hat trick as the Leopards pounced on the Lions 10-5 to begin tournament play. Clayton McLaughlin, Jackson Simpson, and Matt Swigert all scored for 5-7 Louisville as well.
Jared Holland scored 4 goals and assisted Nate Hostetler on the Game-Winning goal with 5 seconds left to lift the Leopards past the Lions 13-12. Hostetler and Mark Soehnlen also had Hat Tricks.
