Girls Cross Country Takes 3rd at District Meet

Morgan Cole took third place to help the Lady Leopards take 1st place in the NBC Meet at Copeland Oaks. Cassidy Kiko also placed 6th and Nicole Israel 7th.
Georgia Kiko had 12 kills and 3 blocks to lead the Leopards to a 25-15, 25-18, 25-19 victory over the host Warriors. Sarah Lairson also had 12 points serving for Louisville.
Morgan Cole had 14 points serving and 41 assists to lead the Leopards to a 25-16, 25-11, 25-18 road win over the Warriors. Louisville is now a perfect 7-0 in the NBC.
Nicole Israel finished with the 9th fastest time in school history as the Lady Leopards placed 8th at the Golden Eagle Invitational.
Nick Chaplik, Noah Murray, and Rahzul Young all had first place finishes to lead the Boys, while Devin Kring had the only individual first place finish for the Girls.
Nick Chaplik & Noah Chaplik led the Louisville Boys to a 79-49 win over Salem, while Morgan Cole & Hailey Kiko lead the Lady Leopards to a 120-8 demolition of the visiting Lady Quakers.
Rahzul Young broke the Leopards 44-year old school record in the Shot Put, but the Louisville Boys still fell to Marlington 76-52. The Lady Leopards edged the Dukes 65-63.
Abby Beaver scored a game-high 17 points to lead the Leopards to a 49-46 road victory against the Wildcats. Sarah Lairson also scored 9 and Sabryna Benzel added 8 for 8-1, 6-0 Louisville.
Teagan Rice scored a team-high 15 points to lead the Leopards past the Polar Bears 51-49 in overtime. Morgan Cole also scored 13 and Emily Fresenko added 10.
