Volleyball: Dukes Bark, Leopards Roar Back in NBC Tilt

The Leopards Girls Soccer team will host their first annual Kick for the Cure Soccer Fundraiser this Saturday, October 8 while also playing host to the GlenOak Golden Eagles.
The Lady Leopards celebrated Senior Night with a 4-1 victory over the visiting Aviators. Louisville has now won 18 league titles in their history overall.
Jared Mathie ran for a pair of touchdowns and hit Bryce Zuppe for aerial score but Marlington defeated Louisville 28-26. Trent Degenhard also ran in a score for the Leopards.
Gavin VanZant ran for 151 yards and 2 touchdowns, but the Leopards fell to the Dukes 24-21. Tyler Adams broke the career touchdown reception record.
Paige Haren finished as the top server and had a match-high 34 assists to lead the Leopards to a 25-16, 25-17, 25-9 win over the Aviators. Louisville is now 10-0 in the NBC.
Kayla Gibson, Sydnee Shankel, and Bri Horton all scored goals during Louisville’s 3-0 shutout of visiting Carrollton. Celia Keefe also recorded the shutout in goal for the Leopards.
Bailey Adams & Hunter Foley each scored a pair of goals and had an assist in the Leopards 6-1 win over the host Warriors. Mitch Perez & Alex Stefanik also scored for Louisville.
Georgia Kiko had 12 kills and 3 blocks to lead the Leopards to a 25-15, 25-18, 25-19 victory over the host Warriors. Sarah Lairson also had 12 points serving for Louisville.
