Landon Geisey rolled a 461 series to lead the Louisville Boys to a 2451-2070 win over Marlington. Estrella Lopez-Cruz rolled a 366 series to lead the Lady Leopards to an 1874-1676 victory over the Lady Dukes.
Brayden Gross scored a game-high 24, Ashton Marshall poured in 22, and Beau Siegfried recorded 13 assists as Louisville demolished visiting Cleveland John Hay 81-50. Devin Bailey also scored 13 as the Leopards finished the regular season 17-5.
Ella Tillett scored a team-high 12 points and Maggie Baker dropped in 10 as #23 Louisville defeated #41 Wooster 45-29 in the DIII, Northeast 6 Sectional Finals. Mabel also scored 8 as the Lady Leopards improved to 11-12 and advanced to districts for the second straight season.
Brayden Gross and Beau Siegfried both scored a team-high 19 points to lead Louisville past visiting top ranked St. Ignatius 67-65. Ashton Marshall also scored 11 as the Leopards improved to 16-5.
Xavier Pollard and Colton Rhoads both recorded first period pins to lead the Leopards past the visiting Falcons 44-27. Jakeb Beard and Beau Nezbeth also won by fall as Louisville finished with a perfect 7-0 dual match record.
Abel Bolyard, Aric Criss, Mikhail Montgomery, and Colton Rhoads all earned first period pins as the Leopards beat host Boardman 77-6. Kaiden Barker, Zander McCrobie Xavier Pollard, Wyatt Smith also won by fall as Louisville improved to 6-0 in dual matches.
Paige Beard rolled a 328 series to lead the Lady Leopards in their division-clinching win over the host Tigers 1793-1395. Landon Geisey also rolled a 471 series to lead the Louisville Boys who defeated Massillon 2273-2071 to improve to 7-5.
Brayden Gross scored his 1,000th point and Beau Siegfried broke the career assist record as the Leopards trounced the host Indians 79-54. Gross scored a game-high 21, Ashton Marshall and Siegfried added 14, and Devin Bailey had 11 as LHS improved to 15-5.
Maggie Baker scored a game-high 16 points to lead the Lady Leopards in their 38-29 win over the visiting Blue Streaks. Courtney Barwick also scored 13 and Ella Tillett tacked on 6 as Louisville finished the regular season 10-12.
The Leopards earned the #4 seed and will host the #53 Akron North Vikings in the DIII, Northeast 6 Sectional Finals on Saturday, February 22.
