Destiny Hanze singled in Kaitlin Twinem for the Leopards lone run in the sixth, but the Beavers doubled their total in the bottom frame on their way to an 8-1 win. Louisville is now 4-5 on the season.
Taylor Schneider pitched 5 scoreless inning and struck out 9 to lead the Lady Leopards in a 5-1 victory over the visiting Fighting Irish. Addy Campbell, Leah Claugus, and Shae O’Neill all recorded doubles as LHS improved to 4-4.
Leah Claugus singled and scored to break up a no-hitter in the fourth inning, but a late rally by Bullitt East downed Louisville 7-2. Katelynn Miller and Shae O’Neill also had singles and Lilly Seaman scored on a wild pitch as LHS dropped to 3-4.
