Grace Jackson homered twice and Peyton McKeever also hit a 2-run homer as the Leopards routed the Blue Streaks 9-2. The second dinger was Jackson’s 30th career home run.
The Vikings downed the Leopards 3-0 to halt their 4-game winning streak. Peyton McKeever, Teagan Rice, & Emily Cantley had the only hits for Louisville.
Morgan Harris pitched a complete game to earn the victory in the circle and Leandra Givens had 2 of the Leopards 5 hits during their 4-1 victory over the Warriors.
Peyton McKeever went 3-for-3 with a 2-run single and Rylee Squire also hit a home run as the Leopards won on the road against the state-ranked Panthers 4-3.
The Boys placed first in 5 different events to take second place, their best ever finish in school history for the Stark County Meet. The Girls also took 11th.
Emily Cantley & Aliyah English each batted 2-for-3 to lead the Lady Leopards to a 4-1 win over the 9th ranked Cardinals. Kirsten Wharmby also earned the victory with a complete game in the circle.
Terry Gooch broke John Simon’s 44-year-old Discus record as the Leopards Boys & Girls Teams both finished 3rd at the Dover Tornado Invitational. At West Branch the Boys won 68-60 and the Girls won 65-63.
Grace Jackson hit her 28th career home run to set the new LHS mark. Morgan Harris threw a 1-hit shutout and Teagan Rice had 4 RBIs as the Louisville beat Salem 11-0.
