Louisville Splits Tri-Match with Geneva and Howland – Volleyball

Aubrey Johnston finished with 12 digs and 9 service points and Dakota Gross led the attack with 10 kills as the Leopards swept the visiting Tigers 25-13, 25-16, 25-20. Addy Campbell also had 8 kills and Carlee Rome finished with 20 assists as LHS improved to 9-6.
Brock Cole posted 14 kills, 3 aces, and 3 blocks, Raiden Lindner added 17 service points, and Kyle Deem finished with 30 digs as the Leopards took down Howland 8-25, 26-24, 25-20, 25-16 to improve to 4-4.
Brock Cole finished with 10 kills, 20 service points, and 7 aces to lead the Leopards in their 25-23, 22-25, 18-25, 25-16, 6-15 road loss to the Tigers. Kyle Deem led the defense with 39 digs as Louisville dropped to 1-1.
Maddux Edgein threw a pair of touchdown passes to Jeremy Wooten and Maddux Long while also running for a score as the Leopards tamed the visiting Tigers 35-6. Karter Elmerick and Karter Pawley both ran for touchdowns as Louisville 8th grade finished its inaugural season undefeated at 8-0.
Brooke Haren scored a team high 11 and Courtney Barwick added 9 as the Leopards fell to the Tigers 47-28 at the South Range Holiday Hoops Classic. Taylor McCully also scored 6 as Louisville dropped to 8-3.
Dominic Hoffarth, Connor Novosel, Dylan Rhoads, and Wyatt Smith all earned sectional titles in leading Louisville to its sixth consecutive team sectional championship. Kolten Barker and Beau Nezbeth both finished as sectional runner-ups as 10 different Leopards advanced to the district tournament.
Will Aljancic and Hayden Nigro scored a game high 19 each as Louisville upended visiting Howland 71-47. Brayden Gross also scored 16 as the Leopards won their sixth straight.
Brooke Haren scored a team high 21 points to lead Louisville past visiting Howland 54-41. Courtney Barwick and Taryn Miglich also both hit 3 three-pointers and scored 11 each for the Lady Leopards who evened their record to 2-2.
