The Louisville Leopards Girls Varsity Basketball Team fell to the Warren Howland Tigers 47-28 Friday Afternoon at the South Range Holiday Hoops Classic held at South Range High School. With the loss, Louisville drops to 8-3 on the season.

Haren Scores Team High 11 to Lead Leopards
Senior Brooke Haren scored 7 of her team high 11 points in the first half to lead the Lady Leopards. Haren would finish 7 of 8 from the free throw line for the game as well.
Junior Courtney Barwick hit Louisville’s only three-pointer in the fourth quarter and finished with 9. Other scorers for the Lady Leopards included sophomore Taylor McCully with 6 and senior Lexi Wasara with 2.
Massucci Pours in Game High 22 to Lead Tigers
Senior guard Alyssa Massucci scored 14 of her game high 22 points in the second half to lead the Lady Tigers. Freshman forward Maya Kubancsek also scored 8 and senior guard Jessie DeSalvo added 7.
Louisville held leads of 2-0 and 5-4 early on, but it was all Howland after that. The Tigers led 8-5 at the end of the first and extended their advantage to double digits at 20-10 heading into the locker room. The Lady Leopards fought back to get their deficit to single digits at the end of the third at 29-20. However, Howland outscored Louisville 18-8 in the final stanza to build their largest margin of the game at 19 in the final seconds.
