#2 Louisville defeated #4 Ashland 48-25 in the consolation match to take 3rd in the DII OHSWCA State Dual Tournament. The Leopards also defeated #7 Miami Trace 42-24 in the quarterfinals before falling to. #3 Aurora 43-29 in the semifinals
Leopards Overcome Early Deficit to Advance to State – Wrestling
Louisville overcame a 15-0 deficit en rout to defeating visiting Lake Catholic 66-15 in the DII Dual Tournament Regional Finals. Dylan Rhoads, Josiah Walker, Wyatt Smith, Brenden Severs, and Blake Schaffer all had pins for LHS.
Leopards Three-Peat at EOWL Tournament – Wrestling
Louisville racked up 274 team points to easily earn their third consecutive EOWL Championship. The South Range Raiders placed second with 235 team points and the host Austintown Fitch Falcons came in third place with 185 team points.
Leopards Run Away with Josh Hephner Memorial Tournament Title, Schaffer MVP – Wrestling
Blake Schaffer was named tournament MVP in leading Louisville to their second straight team title at the Josh Hephner Memorial Tournament. Kolten Barker, Cameron Brazek, Pablo Castro, Dominic Hoffarth, and Brenden Severs also finished 1st for LHS.
Leopards Rock Aurora 60-14 to Qualify for State Tournament – Wrestling
Eight Leopards recorded pins in their 60-14 OHSWCA DII Alliance District Semifinal victory at Aurora. Brenden Severs, Cameron Brazek, Garett Lautzenheiser, Pablo Castro, Davin Rhoads, Dan Kennedy, Josiah Leonard, and Austin Stauffer all won by fall for 7-2 LHS.
