Benson Hits 8th Inning Walk-Off as Leopards Blow Away Tornadoes 1-0 – Softball
Katelyn Miller threw a 3-hitter and struck out 8 and Matti Benson hit a walk-off homer in the bottom of the eighth to lift Louisville past visiting Dover 1-0. Bailee Griffith also went 2-for-3 as the Lady Leopards improved to 14-2.
Lady Leopards Fall to Tornadoes in Extra Innings – Softball
Matti Benson went 3-for-5 with a triple and an RBI to lead Louisville in their 11-6 nine inning loss to Dover at the George Muhon Tournament. Brooke Brendle and Jenna Collins also drove in a pair of runs each for the Lady Leopards who fell to 4-8.
Tornadoes Blow Past Leopards 7-1 in Opener – Softball
Lauren Stillwagon drove home Kaylee Nolte for Louisville’s only run in their 7-1 season opening loss to visiting Dover. Matti Benson finished 2-for-4 to lead the Lady Leopards at the dish.

Sarah Cantley threw a 3-hit shutout and struck out 11 as Louisville blanked Dover 3-0 in their final game of the George Duhon Memorial Tournament. Kaycee Ollis also had an RBI double and a homer as the Leopards moved to 11-0.
