Leopards Top Crusaders 9-1 – Baseball
Tyler Adams batted 3-for-3 with a pair of triples and 2 RBIs to lead Louisville to a road win at Central 9-1. Jordan Shearer earned the win on the mound and Casey Nau & Corey White drove in 2 runs each.

Abby Beaver and Sarah Lairson each scored a team-high 16 points, but Louisville fell at Canton Central Catholic 52-49 in overtime. Alexa Oberster also scored 9 for the Leopards who finish the regular season 14-8.
Scott Gronow hit 5 of Louisville’s 11 three-pointers during their 62-53 win over Central Catholic. Collin Chambers also scored 13 and Austin Pugh added 8.
The Leopards drew the 14th seed and will travel to face the 8th seed Cardinal Mooney Cardinals on Thursday, May 19 at 7:00 PM in the opening round of the DII OHSLA Boys Lacrosse Northeast Region Tournament.
The Boys placed first in 5 different events to take second place, their best ever finish in school history for the Stark County Meet. The Girls also took 11th.
Louisville defeated Akron Buchtel 62-6, Central Catholic 81-0, Fairless 71-4, Malvern 78-6, and Canton McKinley 38-27 to open up the season at the Canton South Duals Saturday.
The Leopards defeated the Blue Streaks 174-179 and the Crusaders 174-203 to improve to 11-2 on the year. Sierra Towsend led Louisville with a match-low score of 39.
Jared Holland scored 4 goals, while Matt Davide & Zach Frank each recorded a Hat Trick during the Leopards 18-1 win over the Crusaders. Louisville is now 8-3 on the season.
The Leopards won every match in two sets to take their first meeting with the Crusaders since 1986 by a count of 5-0. Louisville is now 2-1 on the season.
Dalton Deckerd led Louisville by batting 3-for-4 with a double and 2 RBI’s but the Leopards fell to the visiting Crusaders 9-3.
