Leopards Hit 11 3-Pointers in Win Over Crusaders
Louisville 62, Central Catholic 53
The Louisville Leopards Boys Freshman Basketball Team defeated the visiting Canton Central Catholic Crusaders 62-53 Saturday Morning at Louisville High School. With the victory, Louisville improves to 5-1 on the season.
Scott Gronow hit 5 of the Leopards 11 three-pointers to finished with a game-high 18 points. Collin Chambers also made 3 triples & scored 13 and Austin Pugh hit 2 long balls & dropped in 8.
Louisville outscored Central Catholic in each of the first three quarters to take a 49-33 lead. The Crusaders made a push in the fourth quarter outscoring the Leopards 20-13. Louisville would take the game though aided by a 12 of 12 performance from the free throw line in the second half.
