Boys Tennis Earns Shutout Against Central Catholic

The Louisville Leopards shutout the visiting Central Catholic Crusaders 5-0 Monday at LHS. With the victory, Louisville improves to 2-1 on the season.

The Leopards won every match in two sets. Jake Pukys, Ryan Richards, and Kyle Shepherd all won their singles matches. The Louisville Doubles teams of Alex Hall & Kyle Robinson and Asa Herron & Zach Eddins also picked up wins.

The meeting was the first between the Leopards and Crusaders since 1986. Louisville has now taken the last three dual matches in the series overall that they now lead 5-3.

UP NEXT: The Leopards will next travel to West Branch to take on the Warriors on Tuesday, April 14 at 4:15 PM.
