Louisville Falls to Walsh, Finishes as DI District Runner-Up

Caleb Miller & JT Popick both went 2-for-4 to lead the #19 ranked Leopards in their 7-3 loss to the #24 ranked Hilltoppers in the DII Canton Regional Championship at Thurman Munson Memorial Stadium. Connor Adelman & Andrew Corona both recorded RBIs as Louisville finished 22-10.
Connor Adelman and Andrew Corona each drove in a pari of runs to lead the Leopards in their 7-5 loss to the visiting Golden Eagles. Charlie Roberts also had an RBI single as Louisville fell to 13-8.
Connor Morley threw a complete game, struck out 8, and also hit a 2-run double to lead the #9 seed Leopards past the visiting #21 seed Wildcats 8-2 in the DII Louisville Sectional Semifinals. Ryan Aljancic, Caleb Miller, and Charlie Roberts also recorded 2 hits each as LHS improved to 15-12.
Ryan Aljancic and Charlier Roberts both recorded a pair of hits and drove in a run as the Leopards earned a 4-2 road win over the Dukes. Connor Morley also had 2 hits and earned the victory on the hills for LHS.
Cam Lingle and Kaycee Ollis each drove in 4 runs to lead their respective teams as Baseball topped Softball 8-6. Grayson Beamer and Dom Mongiardo also went 3-for-3 for the boys and Sarah Cantley struck out 9 for the girls.
Head Coach Brian Warner and the Louisville High School baseball staff will hold their annual 3-day youth baseball skills camp. This camp runs from June 12-14 and takes place at the Louisville High School baseball complex.
The Louisville Baseball Team & Coach Brian Warner will host a Skills Camp at LHS on June 13-15 for Grades K-8. The registration deadline to participate is June 8.
On June 22-24 Leopards Head Coach Brian Warner hosted a 3 day baseball camp with the Louisville Baseball Association. Akron Zips Pitching Coach Kyle Smith was the featured guest.
The Leopards were edged by the Vikings in walk-off fashion 4-3 Monday to fall to 1-5. Alex Hewitt recorded the only RBI for Louisville.
