The Black Tigers scored the final 6 points of the contest to steal a 49-46 victory from visiting Louisville in the DI Boys Sectional Semifinal. Blake Hoover scored a game-high 22 points to lead the Leps.
The Leopards furious fourth quarter rally came up inches short as they fell the Blue Streaks 57-55. Blake Hoover scored a game-high 21 points and Bryce Mathie dropped in 13. Louisville finishes the regular season 12-9.
The Leopards did not trail the entire second half and were led by Blake Hoover with 17 points & 7 rebounds, Drew Noble with 11 points & 11 rebounds, and Jake Pukys with 11 points & 3 steals.
J.J. Kukura poured in a game-high 31 points to lead the Aviators past the Leopards 57-45. Blake Hoover led Louisville with 19 points & 13 rebounds, Joe Crank had 9, and Jake Pukys dished out 7 assists.
The Warriors closed the game on a 17-4 run to upset the Leopards. Blake Hoover & Bryce Mathie led Louisville with 12 points and Jake Pukys also added 10 points.
The Leopards rallied from a fourth quarter deficit to down the Warriors 56-49. Blake Hoover scored 12 points & grabbed 11 rebounds, Bryce Mathie also scored 12, and Jake Pukys added 11.
In a game that featured 57 fouls & 71 free throws, Louisville prevailed over Minerva 66-60. Blake Hoover scored a team-high 20 points, Bryce Mathie also poured in 15, and Jake Pukys dropped in 14.
Brody Hahn scored a game-high 13 points and hit the game-winning three-pointer with 2.4 seconds remaining to lift JV 38-37. Blake Hoover scored 10 points, but Varsity fell to the Wildcats 52-38.
