Leopards Win Regular Season Finale Vs. Quakers 4-1 – Boys Soccer

The Louisville Leopards Boys Soccer Team defeated the visiting New Philadelphia Quakers 4-1 in their regular season finale Thursday Night at Louisville Leopards Stadium. With their third straight victory, Louisville finishes the regular season with a 12-4 record.

Adams Notches 2 1st Half Goals for Louisville
Junior Brady Adams scored a pair of first half goals to lead the Leopards. He scored the first goal of the game off a penalty kick. Adams later added a second goal via an assist from senior Tanis Murray to put Louisville ahead 2-0. Adams has now scored 11 goals this season for LHS.
The Quakers would answer back with a goal to cut the Leopard lead to 2-1 by halftime.
Paquelet and Dillen Add to Lead
Louisville added to their lead in the second half with goals by juniors Angelo Paquelet and Drew Dillen. Paquelet became the 14th different Leopards player to score this season as he notched his first goal of the year. For Dillen, it was his 12th goal of the campaign, which allowed him to snatch back sole possession of the team lead in goals for the season.
Junior Ethan Diller and Adams recorded assists on those two second half Louisville goals.
Louisville Vs. New Philadelphia Boys Soccer History
The Leopards have now taken two out of the last three matchups against the Quakers. Louisville is now 2-1-1 against New Philadelphia all-time, which includes a 2-0 record when playing at home in the series.

JV: Louisville 3, New Philadelphia 0
The Louisville Leopards Boys JV Soccer Team shutout the visiting New Philadelphia Quakers 3-0 in their season finale at Louisville Leopards Stadium Thursday Evening. With the win, Louisville closes the season with eighth straight victories and finishes the 2022 campaign with a mark of 11-2.
Sophomore Nick Johnston scored a pair of goals to lead the Leopards. Johnston opened up the scoring with a goal via an assist by junior Remi Klein in the opening half. Freshman Carter Burton and Johnston each converted penalty kicks in the second half as well. Johnston finishes the season with a team leading 20 goals for Louisville.
Sophomore goalkeeper Gio Foradis recorded his eighth shutout of the season in goal for the Leopard JV. Foradis and Louisville end the season with six consecutive shutout victories in which they outscored opponents 17-0.
