The Louisville Leopards Boys Varsity Soccer Team tied the host New Philadelphia Quakers 2-2 Thursday Night at Southside Community Park. With the draw, Louisville finishes the regular season with an even record of 5-5-5.

My Fit Life Personal Trainer Side AdSeniors Austin Smith and Mason Foley each scored a second half goal to lead the Leopards. Both seniors have now scored five goals on the season, which ties them for the team lead with teammates sophomore Drew Dillen and freshman Dominic Porter-Kovacich. 

Neither team scored in the first half before the teams played to a 2-2 tie in the second half. New Philadelphia is now 6-5-4 with the draw.


Leopards Vs. Quakers Boys Soccer History

Louisville is now 0-1-1 when playing at New Philadelphia. The Quakers won the 2019 matchup in New Philadelphia 4-2 before the Leopards won at home 3-2 in 2020.

Most Ties in Louisville Soccer History

The 2004 team held the previous high mark for draws with four during their 10-4-4 campaign. The Leopards boys are not the only Louisville soccer team to set an all-time record for ties this season either. The Lady Leopards also tied five times eclipsing their previous high mark of four in 2005.

The Louisville Leopards JV Boys Soccer Teams shutout the host New Philadelphia Quakers 2-0 Thursday Evening at Southside Community Park. With the win, Louisville JV is now 8-5-1 on the season.

Nick Johnston and Kadan Swope each scored first half goals. Damien Lowder and Ryan Kibler provided the assists.
