The Louisville Leopards Varsity Volleyball Team made quick work of their crosstown opposition in sweeping the host St. Thomas Aquinas Knights 25-8, 25-19, 25-9 Thursday Evening at St. Thomas Aquinas High School. With their third straight victory, Louisville now holds a winning 9-8 record for the season with four regular season matches remaining.
Lexi Jobe led the Lady Leopards with a team-high 7 kills on offense and a team-leading 6 blocks on defense. Bridget DeJacimo also recorded 14 service points to finish as Louisville’s top server for the match.
Other Lady Leopard leaders included Sydney Bast who finished with a team-high 16 digs on defense and Freshman Addison Burick who led Louisville with 17 assists on offense.
The Leopards have now won the Battle for Louisville in four straight matches over the Knights dating back to 2018.

UP NEXT: The Lady Leopards will next travel to Claymont to take on the Mustangs on Saturday, October 10. JV will begin at 10:00 AM and Varsity will follow around 11:30 AM.
