Leopards Sweep Knights in Battle of Louisville – Volleyball

My Fit Life Personal Trainer AdThe Louisville Leopards Varsity Volleyball Team swept the crosstown St. Thomas Aquinas Knights 25-12, 25-18, 25-19 Tuesday Evening at Louisville High School. With the victory, Louisville goes above .500 with a 6-5 mark for the year.

Junior Outside Hitter Paige Cole led the Leopards with a team-high 10 kills. She was also the team’s leading server with 10 points and 8 aces.

Other Louisville leaders included Junior Setter Amanda Clark who finished with 22 assists and Junior Libero Sydney Bast who recorded 10 digs to lead the defense.

The Leopards have defeated the Knights in all three crosstown matchups since the current series began a year ago when Louisville became an independent. 

UP NEXT: The Lady Leopards JV and Varsity squads will next compete at the Austintown Quad on Saturday, September 21 at Fitch High School.
