Lady Leopards Fall on the Road to Blue Streaks 3-1 – Girls Soccer

The Louisville Leopards Girls Varsity Soccer Team fell on the road to the host Lake Blue Streaks 3-1 Monday Night at Blue Streaks Stadium. The loss snaps the Lady Leopards three game winning streak as they fall to an even 4-4 on the year.

Folk Scores in Second Straight Contest

Junior Paige Folk scored Louisville’s lone goal on a free kick in the first half. The score chopped the Lake lead in half at 2-1 with 15:30 to go prior to halftime. For Folk this was her second straight game with a goal as she also scored off a similar free kick on the road at Streetsboro on Saturday.

Blue Streaks Vs. Leopards Girls Soccer History

Louisville has now fallen to Lake in 4 of their last 5 meetings since 2008. The Leopards are now 2-14-4 all-time against the Blue Streaks which includes a 2-8-1 record when playing at Lake.
