The Louisville Leopards Girls Varsity Soccer team fell to the host Kent Roosevelt 4-1 Wednesday Night. With the loss, Louisville falls to 7-5-1 on the season.
Junior Morgan Keelan scored the only goal for the Lady Leopards off an assist from senior Gabby Smith in the first half. Keelan has now recorded a team-leading 24 goals this season which is 11 short of the team record. The assist was Smith’s 6 of the year.
Kent Roosevelt was led by senior Kassidy Fischer who scored a pair of goals. Other Rough Rider goal scorers included junior Claire Booher and senior Maggie Oldham. Junior Gianna Ferrara and junior Sydney Kirbabas also recorded an assist each.
Sophomore goalkeeper Amelia Henderhan finished with 8 saves to lead the Lady Leopards on defense.
Louisville is 0-2 against Kent Roosevelt all-time. The Lady Leopards also lost to the Rough Riders 3-1 at home on September 24, 2012.
