Kerley and Taylor Score for Bulldogs

Equitable Advisors - Bryce MathieThe Lady Bulldogs got on the board first exactly 18 minutes into the contest. Green took a shot from the right side of the field that went off the fingertips of the goalkeeper and into the goal box. The ball took one hop and Mady Kerley was there to boot the ball in midair across the goal line to make it 1-0 Green.

The teams continued to battle for shot opportunities with the Lady Bulldogs clinging to a 1-0 lead deep into the second half. Green broke the game open in the 65th minute when Jillian Taylor snuck a goal into the right side of the net to make it 2-0 Bulldogs.

Louisville Sets Team Record for Fewest Goals Allowed

The Lady Leopards broke a team record with 12 shutouts on the season. With the two goals allowed Monday, they surrendered just 10 goals throughout the entire season. This is a new team record eclipsing the previous mark set by last year’s team who allowed only 17 goals in 17 games.

Lady Leopards Postseason History

My Fit Life Personal Trainer Side AdLouisville is now 11-21 in the postseason all-time, but just 4-17 when playing on the road in the tournament.

The Lady Leopards are still looking for that elusive district championship appearance. They are now 0-3 in district semifinal games falling on the road to Federal League foe in each year: 2012 at Jackson, 2013 at Lake, and this year at Green.

Louisville returns a lot of key talent next year and will look to breakthrough in the 2024 season.
