Keelan Scores 4 Goals as Louisville Upends Canton South 7-1 – Girls Soccer

The Louisville Leopards Girls Varsity Soccer Team earned a convincing 7-1 victory over the host Canton South Wildcats in their regular season finale Wednesday Night at Clyde Brechbuhler Stadium. With the win, Louisville finishes the regular season with a record of 9-6-1.
Junior Morgan Keelan scored 4 goals and had an assist to lead the Lady Leopards. She has now scored a team leading 29 goals on the season for LHS. Freshman Matti Benson also scored a goal and registered a pair of assists for Louisville. Benson leads the team with 10 assists on the year.
Other Leopard goal scorers included freshman Natalie Lab who scored her 4th goal of the season and senior Gabby Smith who added her 11th of the year. Junior Emily Kirby also recorded a pair of assists, while both sophomore Gracie Bush and Smith finished with an assist each.
Sophomore goalkeeper Amelia Henderhan recorded 11 saves in goal for Louisville. The Leopards tripled the Wildcats in shots on goal 24-8. Louisville also held a 2-1 edge over Canton South in corner kicks.
The Lady Leopards are now 14-0 against the Lady Wildcats all-time which includes a 7-0 record in games played at Canton South. Louisville has now outscored South 89-5 all-time.
