Louisville Varsity Leopards could not keep up with Walsh Jesuit Varsity Warriors 5-1 on Tuesday.

A double by Ella Girard put Walsh Jesuit Varsity Warriors on the board in the bottom of the third.

My Fit Life Personal Trainer Side AdKatelynn Miller started the game for Louisville Varsity Leopards. The pitcher allowed eight hits and three runs over five innings, striking out two and walking two. Katie Lippencott stepped in the circle first for Walsh Jesuit Varsity Warriors. The starting pitcher gave up three hits and one run over seven innings, striking out eight and walking none.

Mara Mayle, Miller, and Shae O’Neill each collected one hit for Louisville Varsity Leopards. Mara Mayle led Louisville Varsity Leopards with one run batted in. Mara Mayle went 1-for-1 on the day.

West Main Vet Clinic AdWalsh Jesuit Varsity Warriors piled up 11 hits in the game. Girard set the tone at the top of the lineup, leading Walsh Jesuit Varsity Warriors with three hits in four at bats. Gianna Terlop, Kat Taylor, and Mia Berquist each collected multiple hits for Walsh Jesuit Varsity Warriors. Walsh Jesuit Varsity Warriors were sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Brynn Mineard made the most plays with eight.

Louisville Varsity Leopards welcome Indian Valley Varsity Braves on Wednesday for their next game.

Louisville Junior Varsity Leopards defeated Walsh Jesuit Junior Varsity Warriors 14-1 on Monday thanks in part to 10 runs in the second inning. Ayverie Meister drew a walk, scoring one run, Mia VerBeck drew a walk, scoring one run, Aubree Bell singled, scoring one run, Payton Hamilton doubled, scoring three runs, an error scored one run, and Lyla Kandel homered to left field, scoring three runs.

Walsh Jesuit Junior Varsity Warriors opened the scoring in the first after Kailynn Simonetti singled, scoring one run.

Four more Louisville Junior Varsity Leopards runs crossed the plate in the third inning to extend the lead to 14-1. Hamilton doubled, scoring one run, and Kylin Thorn homered to center field, scoring three runs.

Hayden Kerr earned the win for Louisville Junior Varsity Leopards. The pitcher gave up two hits and one run (zero earned) over three innings, striking out two and walking none. Esme LaPlant took the loss for Walsh Jesuit Junior Varsity Warriors. The pitcher went two and one-third innings, surrendering four runs (three earned) on four hits, striking out three and walking one. Mariella Magistrelli started the game for Walsh Jesuit Junior Varsity Warriors. The pitcher surrendered three hits and 10 runs (two earned) over one and two-thirds innings, striking out one and walking four. Peyton Dillon tossed two innings of scoreless ball for Louisville Junior Varsity Leopards in relief. The reliever surrendered two hits, striking out one and walking none.

Hamilton provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Louisville Junior Varsity Leopards with four runs batted in. The shortstop went 2-for-3 on the day. Hamilton and Bell each collected two hits for Louisville Junior Varsity Leopards. Louisville Junior Varsity Leopards had patience at the plate, accumulating five walks for the game.
