The Louisville Leopards Girls Varsity Soccer Team shutout the host Dover Tornadoes 2-0 Saturday Night at Dover Middle School. With the victory, Louisville has now won 4 of its last 5 matches and evens its record on the season at 4-4.

Schillig Scores Two First-Half Goals for Leopards
Alyssa Schillig scored the game’s only goals in the opening half. She put the Leopards on the board first with a goal in the sixth minute via Violet Lab. Schillig then added a second goal off an assist from Reese Riley with 18:10 left in the opening half.
Neither team scored the rest of the way and the 2-0 lead held to the end.
Edgein Records Second Shutout
Louisville Goalkeeper Tristyn Edgein locked down the goal with two saves and earned the shutout.
The Leopards dominated the contest, lead the Tornadoes in shots on goal 12-2 and corner kicks 6-1.
Louisville Remains Unbeaten Against Dover
Louisville is now 2-0-1 against Dover all-time, outscoring them 6-0 in those contests. The Leopards blanked the Tornadoes 4-0 last season and also played a scoreless draw against Dover in 2022. Each of those previous matchups were played at Louisville Leopards Stadium.
The Lady Tornadoes drop to 4-3-1 with the loss.
