The Louisville Leopards Girls Soccer Team tied the visiting Dover Tornadoes 0-0 on Senior Night Wednesday at a rainy Louisville Leopards Stadium. With the draw, Louisville finishes the regular season with a final record of 10-5-1.
Henderhan Ties Season Record for Shutouts
Senior goalkeeper Amelia Henderhan recorded two saves and, along with the rest of the Lady Leopards defense, held the Tornadoes off the board to preserve the tie. The shutout is Henderhan’s eighth of the season which ties her own individual Louisville team single season record set a year ago. The 2004 and 2013 Lady Leopards Soccer Teams also had eight shutouts. Henderhan has now recorded 26 shutouts in her varsity career at LHS.
This was the first ever meeting between Louisville and Dover in girls soccer. The Lady Tornadoes are the 64th different opponent that Lady Leopards Soccer has faced in the regular season or postseason all-time.
The Lady Tornadoes drop to 10-4-2 on the season with the loss.
